Ellie was rescued with her sister and two brothers about an hour before she was to be killed. They had been dumped in a rural area, caught by someone and brought to an area shelter. She was the thinnest of the four, but she was adopted by a wonderful family who watched her grow to the beautiful doggie you see here. She lived with this family for two years and welcomed a little human into the family. But Ellie is a hound, so she does bark when she plays. New neighbors did not like this, so Ellie was tearfully returned.
